PSX holds Investor & Industry Awareness Session in collaboration with Swabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Women University, Swabi

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) conducted an Investor Awareness Session for students of Women University, Swabi, and introduced GEM Board of PSX to the members of Swabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The PSX team apprised the students about the importance of financial planning, savings & investment, and functions of the Stock Exchange. The students were given a brief overview of the PSX website and how to navigate the same to access various information and data. They were also guided on how to select securities brokers based on the information available on the website. For the members of Swabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the PSX representatives guided them about listing procedure and requirements thereof. The participants were informed about the multifarious benefits of listing which include greater transparency, succession planning and enhanced visibility of their company for investors, fund managers, analysts & others, whether local or foreign. The participants took appreciable interest in the informative session and asked numerous questions to increase their knowledge about stock market investments and listing.
