Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) conducted an Investor Awareness Session for students of Alpha College (O/A Levels)

The session focused on educating participants about the significance of investing in the stock market and the pivotal role of PSX in Pakistan’s economy. Students were guided on the rationale behind investing, the process of trading, and how to effectively utilize PSX’s website and Data Portal.

They also explored the My Portfolio virtual trading platform, gaining hands-on experience in simulated trading. Faisal Dhedhi, Deputy Head of Institutional Sales at Foundation Securities; Faheem Shakeel, Head of Online at Foundation Securities; and Mehroz Khan, Deputy Head of Research at Foundation Securities, also joined the session, sharing valuable insights and guiding students on how to begin their investment journey. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where students actively participated, asking questions about investment strategies and capital market operations.
