PSX conducts an Investor Awareness session for the students of Riphah College (Muslim Town Campus)

PSX conducted an Investor Awareness session for the students of Riphah College (Muslim Town Campus). The session aimed to educate students on the importance of stock market investments and the critical role the capital market plays in Pakistan’s economy. Topics covered included portfolio management, making informed investment decisions, the impact of dividends on stock prices, market trends, and economic indicators. During the session, students were introduced to the “My Portfolio” platform, where they learned how to allocate virtual cash in a live trading environment but students also opened their own accounts, gaining practical exposure to the trading process in a risk-free, virtual setting. The participants were also briefed on the benefits of investing in PSX and how to navigate the PSX website. Students were highly engaged throughout the session, asking insightful questions about the stock market. Their curiosity and enthusiasm reflected a strong interest in deepening their understanding of investment strategies and capital markets. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, leaving students appreciative of PSX’s efforts in promoting financial literacy and investor education across Pakistan.
