PSX and Trust Securities & Brokerage Limited Jointly conduct a Corporate Investor Awareness Session for Nishat Power Limited

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) along with a securities broker, Trust Securities & Brokerage Limited, jointly conducted a Corporate Investor Awareness Session for management of Nishat Power Limited. This was part of the PSX Financial Literacy Initiative to inculcate awareness among the youth on investment, particularly equity investments in the stock market, and the role of the capital market in the economy of Pakistan. The participants were apprised about how to open a brokerage account, how to select stockbrokers, and how to navigate the PSX website. This was an informative and productive session for all participants as Pakistan Stock Exchange continues its efforts to disseminate investor awareness and education to the general public specifically the youth. The representative from Trust Securities explained the overall working and functions of a brokerage house. There was an interactive Q&A session where senior management of Nishat Power asked several questions relevant to the Stock Exchange and investment procedure in the Primary and Secondary market. Concludingly, the management of Nishat Power appreciated PSX’s efforts for the awareness of investors and the development of the capital market.​
