PSX Conducts Investor Awareness Session for CSS Officers

Pakistan Stock Exchange conducted an Investor Awareness Session for qualified officers of the Central Superior Services (CSS) who were part of the 46th Specialised Training Program of Inland Revenue held under the aegis of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). The officers were given a presentation of the overview of the functions of the Stock Exchange, its ecosystem and its role in capital formation in the country. The officers were also informed about the importance of financial planning & saving, effect of inflation on savings, stock investment, and advantages of investing for long term in the equity market. The PSX representative guided the officers about how to select stock-brokers and how to explore their list/ contact details available on PSX website. Furthermore, they were apprised on how to navigate/ explore the PSX website to access the various functions/ information available therein. This was an interactive session whereby the participants engaged in discussion/ question & answer session with the PSX representatives throughout and at the end of the session as well. The officers presented a shield of appreciation to the PSX Head of Marketing & Business Development in gratitude of her ably guiding and instructing them on investor awareness & education.
