PSX Holds Gong Ceremony to Announce Listing of Octopus Digital Ltd.

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) held a gong ceremony to mark the listing of Octopus Digital Limited which recently held its IPO and was listed on the Exchange on October 5th, 2021. The gong was struck to open the trading day by Mr. Bakhtiar H. Wain, Chairman of Octopus Digital Limited, amidst the presence of MD PSX Mr. Farrukh H. Khan, Chairman & CEO of BMA Capital Management Ltd. Mr Moazzam M. Malik, Board members of PSX as well as senior management of the three organisations. BMA Capital Management Ltd. was the Lead Manager and Book Runner to the Issue. Octopus Digital Limited’s is the fourth listing on the Exchange for fiscal year 2021-22. The IPO of the company was a tremendous success with the book building phase being oversubscribed by an overwhelming 27.24 times and the retail portion of the public subscription being oversubscribed by 4.30 times. As per tradition, the gong ceremony comprised of speeches by the participants of the event including those by the MD PSX and the Chairman Octopus Digital Ltd. It was overall a productive and informative event signifying the entry of an important and major IT company of the country on Pakistan Stock Exchange.
