PSX participates in AirLink CEO Summit Asia

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) participated in the AirLink CEO Summit Asia held in Lahore on 15th December 2022. The summit was organised by CEO Club Pakistan and CEO Today Magazine. The MD & CEO of PSX, Mr. Farrukh H. Khan, spoke at the summit on the subject of growth strategies in testing times. The best-selling book, “100 Performing CEOs, Leaders & Companies of Pakistan” was also launched at the event. The conference included CEOs from across Pakistan whereby the theme of the conference was “Turnaround Pakistan: Reshaping the Future of Pakistan”. The Chief Guest of the conference was Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, who spoke on the theme of the conference. After the inaugural and welcome address by Mr. Shabeeh Ikram, President CEO Club Pakistan (Karachi Chapter), and Mr. Ijaz Nisar, Founder and President, CEO Club & Management House, respectively, the keynote speeches were given by CEOs of AirLink Communication Ltd. and Lotte Akhtar Beverages. Mr. Muhammad Tariq Malik, Chairman NADRA, spoke on the topic of Digital Pakistan and Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Federal Minister for Board of Investment spoke on Pakistan being a destination for investment. Other keynote speeches on Turnaround Pakistan were delivered by Guests of Honour, Mr. Fahd Hussain, Special Assistant to the PM on Public Policy & Strategic Communication, and by Mr. Raja Parvez Ashraf, Speaker, National Assembly. The CEOs taking part in the summit included Mr. Salim Ghauri, CEO Netsol Technologies; Mr. Usman Ali Bhatti, CEO & MD, Wah Industries Ltd.; Mr. Yasir Ashfaq, CEO Pakistan Microfinance Investment Company Ltd., and Mr. Zubair Tufail, CEO Tufail Chemical Industries Ltd. Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi graced the occasion by his presence as Guest of Honour. The summit was a fruitful and productive one where CEOs, Govt. functionaries and officials came together to discuss and address the way forward for Pakistan in order to direct it on the path of progress and prosperity.
