PSX & PSEB conducts Awareness Seminar of GEM Board Listing for IT/ITeS companies in association with JS Global

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) jointly hosted an “Awareness Seminar of GEM Board Listing” for IT/ITeS Companies in association with JS Global Capital Limited. Speakers in the session included Mr. Farrukh H. Khan, MD & CEO PSX; Ms. Raeda Latif, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer; Mr. Talib Baloch, Project Director PSEB; Mr. Kamran Nasir, CEO JS Global, and Mr. Imtiaz Gadar Deputy CEO JS Global. Other senior management officials of the three collaborating hosts, PSX, PSEB & JS Global, were also present. Almost 40 IT/ITeS companies participated in the event.

The PSX team briefed the participants of the session about how SMEs and Startups can list on the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) Board to raise capital and expand their business. The representatives of PSEB informed the participants about the joint effort of PSEB and PSX to enlist 40 IT/ITeS Companies on the GEM Board of PSX. The senior management of JS Global explained the role and mandate of JS Global Capital Limited given by PSEB for the listing of IT companies on the GEM Board and deliberated the ‘Qualification Criteria’ set by PSEB to undergo the selection of IT companies for listing on GEM Board by JS Global.

A detailed Q&A session was held at the end of the event, where various questions from IT/ITeS companies were addressed. The participating companies appreciated the effort of PSEB, PSX, & JS Global and assured their willingness to explore the opportunity being offered.
