PSX and Arif Habib Ltd jointly conduct Investor Awareness Session for University of Central Punjab

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and Arif Habib Limited (AHL) jointly conducted an Investor Awareness Session for MBA Executive students of University of Central Punjab (UCP). The students visited PSX Regional Office Lahore for the session. The MBA Executive students belonged to different organizations and national institutions like Pakistan Army. The students were briefed on functions of the Stock Exchange, its ecosystem and its role in capital formation by PSX representatives. The students were also informed about the importance of financial planning & saving, the effect of inflation on savings, stock investment, and the advantages of investing in the equity market for the long term. Furthermore, Arif Habib Ltd. representatives guided the students on how to open an Investor Account and highlighted the performance of different sectors and securities. On their part, the PSX representatives apprised the participants on how to navigate/ explore the PSX website to access the various functions/ information available on the PSX Data Portal. It was an interactive session and the questions from the participants were addressed to their satisfaction by representatives of PSX and Arif Habib Ltd.
